How about a new ‘business idea’ that focuses on helping freelancers get gigs online? This is basically a temp agency, or staffing agency, brought online for those who work online as freelancers. You can bring together the two; the company with a need and a freelancer with the skills needed. You have the option to decide which side to charge the fee for your services.
Because of the rising costs of petroleum products, a daily commute to work and back can be very expensive. This is why there are many people today looking for jobs that they can accomplish from the convenience of their homes. Since a great majority of people own personal computers they would love to be able to access a job market by using there own computer from home. The hard part of doing this is finding authentic jobs that would provide a relatively decent wage.

By custom, payment arrangements may be upfront, percentage upfront, or upon completion. For more complex projects, a contract may set a payment schedule based on milestones or outcomes.”
Since you will be bringing the two together, you may be able to decide how each freelancer that works through you is paid. This way you will be able to receive a certain percentage of what each ‘temp worker’, or ‘freelancer’, is paid by each temporary employer.
Initially this will take a great deal of work on your part to find good quality workers and fast paying serious businesses that are looking for temporary workers for specific tasks. When you work for someone else, you live a regimented life. Your body may not want to get up at 7 a.m., but you have to be at work by 8 a.m. so you lurch out of bed with a head full of sleep.
People who choose to work at home are doing more than just escaping the yoke of their master; they have made a deep, firm, life-altering decision which says that health, happiness and prosperity depend vitally on the freedom to work for ourselves, and in doing so in the comfort of the home.
We want to really emphasize that fact that to be successful in a work at home situation, you have to be nothing less than a fanatic; a zealot, who is utterly committed to making work-at-home not only a successful venture, but a profound commitment for life. You must be convinced that a return to an outside office job would be the equivalent of a spiritual death sentence.
Many people hate their office jobs, but they have made an inner compromise with themselves. They have convinced themselves that their job is “not so bad,” pays the bills, and that they can stick out because they have to.
If you want to be truly successful at quitting your day job, there cannot be any room for such compromises in your soul. You have to take the attitude that to work any longer at your hateful job is akin to fouling your inner being with a spiritual cancer the will sicken and kill you to be able to Work At Home.
Eliminating the Home-Office Mentality to Work At Home
To move our work home, however, does not mean we eliminate every single thing about the traditional American office. Rather, we should select what is useful and what is not.
It’s a mistake to quit your job and go home with a “home-office” mentality. By this we mean thinking small, and believing that you will automatically sacrifice a decent income in exchange for your freedom. Please! Do not think small!
To quote Jeffrey Lant again: “Too many home-based practitioners fail to understand the benefits that accrue because of the professional style they have selected. They focus on the “home” part of the business rather than the “business” portion, and as a result are doomed to small incomes.” Working at home provides many benefits. We can save a lot of time because we don’t need to commute and we have more control over our schedule. We can save a lot of costs because we don’t have the overhead requirements of larger businesses. We can cut our stress — and so have more energy — because we avoid many of the characteristic problems of life in the late 20th-Century office. We must work these advantages to our profit to be able to Work At Home.

Though I don’t understand it, there are some who love to have call center job. I had a friend once who loved these jobs, and I always wondered why she liked them so much. She loved talking on the phone, and didn’t mind calling people up to see if they wanted to buy something or to see if they wanted to give money to charity. Most aren’t like her though, because they are well aware of how unwelcome these call can be. However, if you like to talk on the phone, there are jobs for this that might not be as bad as that.
The call center jobs that most look for are the ones that deal with answering the phone rather than making calls. Most companies need customer service representatives, and that means that call center jobs will probably always be out there. Though there are some automated systems out there, most people with a problem or a question will want to talk to a real person who can help them sort things out. Utilities and other companies have a huge need for this, but those jobs are not limited to those industries.

Most of the professionals in the advertising industry agree to the fact that obtaining a degree isn’t a must to get started in the industry, but on the contrary all the classifieds ask for a bachelor’s degree at least for this job. Another advantage of taking a degree is that if internship is taken during the course, it will provide the adequate experience that ad agencies and companies usually ask for. The internship director of the university can help in this regard. He may have links that could make it possible to get a break in radio, television or even in an ad agency, the choice totally depends on interest.
In case the internship director is of no help, become a part of a network and get to know people around you. This will surely land you somewhere. It wont hurt to search for an internship on your own. Check out the local newspapers for classifieds; call up local radio and television stations and even ad agencies inquiring about any vacancies. Usually there are lots of ads in the Sunday edition of newspaper, drop in a resume at their office. Best idea is to get in contact with the production manager or the news director of the company. Send them a mail; give a good reference, which can be of big help.

Usually there are lots of chances for internships in the production department.
